Terms and Conditions

1 Promotion Entry into and participation in the Weet-Bix Season of Sport 2023 Promotion (Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including any information on how to enter and prizes.
2 Can I Enter? Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older. You are not eligible to enter if you are a member of the immediate family of an employee of the Promoter, or its related corporations or agencies.
3 When can I enter? The Promotion commences at 12:00AM 13 November 2023 and ends 11:59PM on 10 December 2023 (the Promotional Period).
4 How do I enter? To enter the Promotion and be eligible to win, you must, during the Promotional Period:

Step 1: Take an original photo of your child aged 7-17 years old partaking in physical activity (please make sure you’re mindful that any children are suitably clothed); and

Step 2: Visit www.weetbix.com.au/season-of-sport and following the prompts to the entry form;

Step 3: Upload your photo or video (please make sure you upload a single photo, not a montage, collage or other form of artwork in .jpeg, .gif or .png format under 5MB in size with at least 800×800 pixels or your video is uploaded as MP4.mov file with a limit of 100MB)

Step 4: Select which athlete you would like to meet, answer the remainder of the entry form including providing your details and answering the questions as prompted.

5 Consent Individuals submitting Photographs of a child that is not their own must have permission of the child’s parent or guardian, to enter them in the Promotion, and for the Entry to be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
6 Moderation All Entries will be moderated prior to publication, and if an Entry is not accepted because in the Promoter’s opinion (acting reasonably) the Entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entrant will be contacted by email.
7 Publication You acknowledge and agree that any photograph submitted by you and accepted by the Promoter may be published on the Promoter’s Website, Facebook and Instagram accounts and may be published in or on other forms of promotional and marketing material, including in or on marketing materials for subsequent Weet-Bix promotions.
8 Multiple Entries You can enter the Promotion multiple times, with each unique photo or video uploaded being one Entry, provided you complete each step listed under ‘How do I enter?’ above each time.
9 Prizes There are four (4) Major Prizes and four (4) Runner Up Prizes, consisting of:

MAJOR PRIZES:

  • Holiday for Four (4) people to Meet Marnus Labuschagne, Men’s Cricket Match – Brisbane
    • Travel dates: 23 January 2024 – 26 January 2024
    • Return economy airfares for four (4) from nearest Australian capital city to Brisbane, QLD
    • All airline and airport taxes
    • Return private transfers from airport to accommodation
    • 3 nights, 4-star accommodation in Brisbane – 2 x twin room (or similar) with breakfast included

Total Runner Up Prize Pool: $2,550

The total prize pool value is up to AUD $46,650. The Promoter may provide an alternative prize of equal value in the event that all or part of a prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control. Prizes, or any unused portion of any Prize, are not transferable, exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise specified.
10 Winner Selection This is a game of skill and the most original and creative photos will win. Winners will be selected at 1 Sanitarium Drive, Berkeley Vale NSW 2261 by members of the Weet-Bix Marketing Team on Monday 11 December 2023.
11 Winner Notification Winners will be notified on or before two business days from the date of winner selection. Physical Prizes will be mailed to the address provided by each Winner on their entry form.
12 Winning a Major Prize In relation to each Major Prize:

  • travel dates are set as per prize package details;
  • the winner and their travel companion(s) must travel together on all prize travel;
  • in the event that any travel companion is under the age of 18 years old, they must be accompanied by their parent or guardian;
  • It is the winner’s responsibility to organise transport to/from the airport departure/return point;
  • the winner and their travel companion(s) must comply with any additional terms of any third party providers in order to claim the Major Prize (for example, travel agents, airlines etc);
  • availability, cancellation and/or delays are determined by those third party providers and not the Promoter;
  • the winner is responsible for paying any excess costs associated with the Major Prize, including added spending money, visa costs, meals, taxes, insurance, in-room charges and commuting costs;
  • all travel is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner;
  • all bookings must be made a minimum of 60 days in advance of requested departure dates and all bookings and documentation regarding the prize must be made via Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents;
  • redeeming the prize is conditional on acceptance of the terms and conditions of travel as detailed by Free- 2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd and the airline carriers in accordance with normal travel practices;
  • the winner is responsible for any amendments fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed;
  • winner is responsible for any additional taxes and/or resort fees associated with the chosen accommodation, unless otherwise stated;
  • if the winner’s Major Prize is cancelled or postponed due to Government restrictions or changes in circumstance beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide the winner with a voucher or alternative prize to the same value of the Major Prize;
  • if the winner or any of their travel companion(s) does not take an element of the Major Prize for whatever reason, that element will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded instead of that element of the prize;
  • the Promoter will not be providing travel insurance for the winner, the winner and their travel companion(s) must have valid travel insurance for their period of travel and arrange this personally themselves; and
  • the winner and their travel companion must have valid passports or ID with a minimum of 6 months passport validity prior to departure.
13 Unclaimed Prizes If a winner does not take or claim a Prize (for any reason such as providing incorrect contact details) then the Prize will be forfeited. If any Prize that remains unallocated or unclaimed at 12pm on 18 December 2023, judging for the unallocated and/or unclaimed Prizes will take place, with selection from all non-winning entries.
14 Your Entry You promise and warrant that all the details submitted with your entry are true and correct, and, if you post or upload a photo or written response; that you have all of the necessary rights, consents and licences to grant the rights to the Promoter as set out in these Terms and Conditions; your entry is original, solely your own and has not been communicated to the public before; your entry does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party; and the exercise of any rights granted by you to the Promoter is at the complete discretion of the Promoter, including any communication of your entry to the public.
15 Licence By submitting your Entry, you grant the Promoter and its licensees and assignees a perpetual, world-wide, royalty free, licence to exercise all rights (including intellectual property and privacy rights) to your entry and any other material provided by you to the Promoter in relation to the Promotion at any time, including reposting or republishing. You consent to your entry being edited or adapted or modified at any time and in any manner by the Promoter or its agents, licensees and assignees.
16 Cost of Entry You are responsible for any costs associated with entering the Promotion including associated with accessing the internet. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems with communications networks and use of mechanical or electronic tools that allow for repeated entries is not permitted.
17 Receipt of Entries/td> Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.
18 Social Media Terms If you have any questions or comments about the Promotion, please direct them to the Promoter (contact details below), not any relevant social media platform. The Promotion is in no way sponsored by, endorsed or administered by any social media platform including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or TikTok and entrants release all relevant social media platform from any and all liability and agree to comply with any of their applicable terms of use.
19 Promoter’s Rights The Promoter reserves the right to:

  • disallow entries in its absolute discretion;
  • verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion;
  • to terminate this Promotion or amend any aspect of this Promotion (including the prize) without notice at any time in its sole discretion in the event that this Promotion or any aspect of this Promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned; and
  • enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
20 Liability The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is or may be suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is or may be suffered or sustained, in connection with participation in the promotion or accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. This includes but is not limited to any tax liability or tax implications.
21 Privacy The information collected about entrants in the course of the Promotion has been requested to enable the Promoter to conduct the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including publicity), and for the Promoter to send you additional informational or marketing material, in accordance with the Sanitarium Privacy Policy which can be found here: Privacy | Sanitarium Health Food Company
22 Your Personal Information A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address below.
23 Promoter The promoter is AUSTRALIAN HEALTH & NUTRITION ASSOCIATION LIMITED ABN 63 096 452 872 trading as the Sanitarium Health Food Company, 1 Sanitarium Drive, Berkeley Vale NSW 2261, email [email protected]. All decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
